Looking Out. Hamilton Pool Preserve

Located 3/4 mile upstream from its confluence with the Pedernales River, Hamilton Creek spills out over limestone outcroppings to create a 50-foot waterfall as it plunges into the head of a steep box canyon. The pool is located about 23 miles west of Austin, Texas off Highway 71.

Yesterday evening, as the storms rolled through Texas I was shooting photos at the popular #Bluebonnet House in Marble Falls. As the sunset, lightning could be seen in the distance. It was beautiful to watch. Photographers come from all over to shoot this house and the bluebonnets but few get a shot like this one. #lightning #bluebonnets #marblefalls

The Road to Enchanted Rock

Enchanted Rock from the air. That's Ranch Rd 965 down there and Enchanted Rock rising out of the west.

Jumping into Jacob's Well Spring. The Well is in Cypress Creek near Wimberley.

Shot from 35 feet. Jacob's Well cave descends vertically for about 30 feet, then continues downward at an angle through a series of silted chambers separated by narrow restrictions, finally reaching an average depth of 120 feet.
