This is a shot of the rim of Yasur Volcano, the South Pacific country of Vanuatu. View large to see the people on the right side of the shot, walking toward me along the rim. Yasur has been in more-or-less continuous eruption since Captain Cook observed ash eruptions in 1774. I visited this small island nation in 2010. I wish I had had better photography equipment and skills when I was there. I got my scuba certification there and dove the WWII troopship SS President Coolidge. #Yasur #Volcano #Vanuatu #SouthPacific
