I arrived at Devils Tower with the grand hopes of shooting the tower at sunset. When I arrived, the tower was enshrouded in fog. 7.5 hour drive from Yellowstone and fog! I blame aliens. Ugh. In the morning I flew the drone just before the rain arrived and caught this shot. The tower was made famous by Steven Spielberg's film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. This journey drawing to a close, with one more stop before returning to Iowa to see family and then off again to the Wisconsin North Woods next week. Thank you so much for following along.
